Cost of MBBS in Kyrgyzstan
Tuition for MBBS in Kyrgyzstan at the schools that can enrol runs from about USD 3,400 to USD 7,900 a year, with a government minimum of USD 3,000 since April 2026. That is the number agents quote. The full cost adds a hostel, meals, insurance, registration and flights, and it depends on which school, which year of study, and whether the fee is an official figure or an agent's estimate. This page shows all 34 schools' fees from the same data as the rest of the site, in your currency with the USD figure beside each one.
Tuition per year, all 34 schools
Data 13 Oct 2026Sorted by the 2026 accreditation result, then by name. "Official" means the figure comes from the university's own fee page or tariff; "estimate" means it comes from an agent website because the school publishes nothing. Schools that failed or did not apply are listed for completeness; they cannot take a new student, so their fee is history.

The minimum fee since April 2026
In April 2026 the government set a floor of USD 3,000 a year for foreign medical students, USD 3,500 at the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy, and routed foreign admissions through a single state portal. Offers below the floor are not real university fees, whatever the agent says, and quotes from 2022 and 2023 that still circulate online are out of date.

What the tuition figure leaves out
- Hostel and meals: where a school publishes it, USD 600 to 2,150 a year. IHSM bills USD 2,150 a year including meals from year two; most others publish nothing.
- Medical insurance, typically billed by the school (IHSM lists USD 200 a year).
- Residence registration and visa extensions, and the time to do them.
- A return flight each year, and the first-year arrival costs: deposit, bedding, winter clothing.
- At home: the licensing exam fees and the coaching most candidates pay for.
- If you use an agent: a commission that is rarely disclosed and is sometimes built into a "fee" higher than the school's own.
Common questions about the cost of MBBS in Kyrgyzstan
- What does MBBS in Kyrgyzstan cost in total?
Tuition is between about USD 3,400 and USD 7,900 a year depending on the school and the year of study, with a government minimum of USD 3,000 a year since April 2026 (USD 3,500 at KSMA). Add the hostel and meals, typically USD 600 to 2,150 a year where published, medical insurance, residence registration, and a return flight each year. Over five or six years that is roughly USD 20,000 to 45,000 all in, before exam coaching at home.
- Is there a scholarship for MBBS in Kyrgyzstan?
We have found no state or ministry scholarship for foreign medical students in Kyrgyzstan. Agents advertise university discounts; none is published by a university in a form we could verify. Treat a scholarship offer as a fee negotiation and get the final fee in writing on university paper.
- Can I get an education loan for MBBS in Kyrgyzstan?
Banks in India and Pakistan lend for medical study abroad under their own education loan schemes, each with its own list of eligible institutions, collateral rules and limits. Those rules are the bank's, change often, and we do not reproduce them here. Ask the bank whether it lends for the specific school, and show it the school's 2026 accreditation result from this site before you apply.
- How much does MBBS in Kyrgyzstan cost in Indian rupees?
At the reference rate on this site (1 USD = 95.3 INR, 15 Oct 2026), tuition of USD 3,400 to USD 7,900 a year is about ₹3.2 lakh to ₹7.5 lakh a year, and the government minimum of USD 3,000 is about ₹2.9 lakh. Choose India in the selector at the top and every figure on the site shows in rupees beside the dollar amount. Banks and money changers quote different rates from the reference.
- What is the fee with hostel?
Only two of the schools that can enrol publish a hostel price: KSMA at about 2,000 som (USD 23) a month for foreign students, and IHSM at USD 2,150 a year including meals from the second year. The others say they have a hostel but publish no price; the school page says so rather than guessing. Add rent of your own only if the school has no hostel or you choose to live out.
- Which medical university in Kyrgyzstan has the lowest fees?
Among the schools that can enrol, the lowest published first-year figures are Asian International University at about USD 3,400 (an estimate from agent listings, not an official figure) and KSMA at USD 3,500 (official). No school may charge less than the USD 3,000 floor set in April 2026, so an offer below it is outside the rule.
- What does MBBS in Kyrgyzstan cost for Pakistani students?
The same dollar fees apply to every foreign student. At the reference rate on this site (1 USD = 276.9 PKR, 15 Oct 2026), USD 3,400 to USD 7,900 a year is roughly PKR 9.4 lakh to PKR 21.9 lakh a year. Choose Pakistan in the selector to see every figure in rupees. Check the school's ECFMG status before paying, since the PM&DC requires it for registration since 31 July 2026.
