For students from Bangladesh · state accreditation decided 29 May 2026
Is a Kyrgyzstan MBBS degree valid in Bangladesh? Yes, as a qualification: the Second Schedule of the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council Act 2010 lists Kyrgyzstan, all universities. Practising needs more: under section 12 of the Act you sit the Council's Registration Qualifying Examination, which 115 of 418 candidates passed in May 2025, are provisionally registered on passing, and complete a one-year internship in a Bangladeshi medical college before full registration. A school that lost its Kyrgyz licence in 2026 cannot issue a degree the Kyrgyz regulator recognises, which section 12(3) requires.
Bangladesh is the third-largest source of foreign medical students in Kyrgyzstan. Its rules are simpler than India's or Pakistan's at the school level and harder at the exam level: the BM&DC Act lists every Kyrgyz university as a recognised qualification, so the only school question is the 2026 accreditation, and every graduate then sits the Council's Registration Qualifying Examination and serves a one-year internship in Bangladesh before registration.
The Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council Act 2010 lists Kyrgyzstan, all universities, in its Second Schedule of recognised foreign medical qualifications, alongside Kazakhstan, Georgia, Russia and the other post-Soviet states. Section 12 of the Act then sets the route for every degree earned abroad: the holder sits the examination the Council prescribes, is provisionally registered on passing, completes an internship of the length the Council fixes, and only then is fully registered under section 18. The Council calls the exam the Registration Qualifying Examination (RQE) and held it in April 2026, with an October 2026 sitting announced on 22 August; the internship is one year in a Bangladeshi medical college, allocated by the Council.
Before you leave, BM&DC issues an Eligibility Certificate on the strength of your SSC and HSC results and your MBBS admission-test result; the Council's requirements sheet for the RQE lists it as the first document. Since the 2022-23 session the Council's admission policy has required anyone going abroad for MBBS to sit the national admission test and score at least 40, a threshold its 2025-26 policy keeps. In May 2025 the Council let candidates without an Eligibility Certificate sit the RQE on six conditions, including combined SSC and HSC results of 8.0, biology of 3.5 and no more than three years between HSC and admission; whether that concession is repeated is decided sitting by sitting.
Being verified BM&DC's website sits behind a bot check, so its notices, the RQE requirements sheet and the eligibility page could be read only in part. The Act and its schedule were read in full on the Ministry of Law's site; the exam dates, the Tk 8,000 (USD 65) processing fee, the attestation rule and the one-year internship come from the Council's own notices as indexed and from press reports quoting the Council's registrar. We will replace them with the Council's text when we can read it.

The Ministry of Health assessed all 34 institutions in May 2026. 4 passed for six years and 3 state universities are exempt by law; those 7 hold full accreditation. 7 received a one-year term and are reassessed in 2027. 13 failed and lost their licences, and 7 did not apply; none of those can take a new student, whatever an agent says.

Six-year accreditation or exempt by law. Fees are per year; the figures below are in BDT with the USD amount beside them. BM&DC's Registration Qualifying Examination is held in April and October; results are published as lists of roll numbers, not by school.

Each school's page explains its result, where its students were transferred, and carries the line: Schools can send us evidence for review; we post the outcome here.
Only four schools publish an official fee; the rest are agent-reported estimates, labelled as such on every page. In April 2026 the government set a minimum of USD 3,000 a year for foreign students (USD 3,500 at KSMA), so any offer below that is not a real university fee. Add the hostel, meals, medical insurance, residence registration and flights. Fees on this page are in BDT at a mid-market rate dated on the page, with the USD figure kept beside each one.

The RQE is the exam every graduate of a foreign medical school sits before registration in Bangladesh. The Council publishes results as lists of roll numbers, not by school or country, so there is no Kyrgyz figure. The counts below are the sittings for which a total was reported; counts only.
The Council's own result sheets for October 2025 and April 2026 could not be read; if you hold one, send it to corrections@kyrgyzstanmedicalschools.com and we post the counts.
As a qualification, yes: the Second Schedule of the BM&DC Act 2010 lists Kyrgyzstan, all universities, among recognised foreign medical qualifications. To practise you must then pass the Council's Registration Qualifying Examination and complete a one-year internship in Bangladesh, after which you are fully registered. The degree must also be recognised by the Kyrgyz regulator, so choose a school that holds state accreditation.
The RQE is the exam section 12 of the BM&DC Act prescribes for graduates of foreign medical schools. The Council held it on 24 April 2026 and announced an October 2026 sitting on 22 August; press reports describe a multiple-choice paper of 100 marks held at the BCPS in Dhaka. In May 2025, 115 of 418 candidates passed. Candidates who fail may sit again. The Council's requirements sheet lists an Eligibility Certificate, the graduation certificate and transcripts attested by the Bangladesh mission in the study country and again by the Foreign Ministry, school certificates, the passport with visa evidence of residence abroad, and a processing fee of Tk 8,000 (USD 65).
An Eligibility Certificate. BM&DC issues it against your SSC and HSC certificates and marksheets, birth registration and the admit card and result of the MBBS admission test; the fee is Tk 1,000 (USD 8.10) by online invoice. Since the 2022-23 session the Council's admission policy requires at least 40 marks in the national admission test for anyone going abroad for MBBS. In 2025 the Council let candidates without the certificate sit the RQE on six conditions, but do not plan on that.
Yes. Section 12(3) of the Act registers a successful RQE candidate provisionally for an internship of the length the Council fixes, and section 18 allows full registration only after an internship in an approved hospital. The Council's registrar has put it at one year in a Bangladeshi medical college, and the Council allocated the April 2026 passers to government medical colleges in May 2026. Full registration then requires the internship certificate and surrender of the provisional one.
Tuition is set per year by each school, from about USD 3,400 to USD 7,900 depending on the school and the year of study, with a government minimum of USD 3,000 a year since April 2026. Only four schools publish an official figure; the rest are agent-reported estimates, labelled as such. Hostel, meals, insurance, registration and flights come on top.
We have found no state or ministry scholarship for foreign medical students in Kyrgyzstan. Some agents advertise university discounts; none is published by a university in a form we could verify. Treat any scholarship offer as a fee negotiation, and get it in writing on university paper.
This site is not an agent and takes no applications.
